The Mother Fucking Not Roadmap is now here for all to see.

Since July, QuantumTECH has gone from kicking off and starting the Blazed Cats project, to managing and running Blazed Cats, RUG.WTF, Space Poggers, DOJICREW, plus all of the countless throwaway projects, on top of all the work we do to build bleeding edge technology for our clients. As a result our team is constantly working on many fronts, and as a holder it can be difficult to have a grasp on precisely what it is we are working on at a given time. And so we have decided to release The Not Roadmap.

What is the Not Roadmap?

The Not Roadmap is our answer to the typical Roadmap released by teams and projects. As we are constantly in a state of delivery, and building out new tech and items across multiple fronts a constricted and date specific model like a Roadmap will not work for us as a team. In order to make sure we have transparency and clarity on what it is we are working on we have created a Trello board that is accessible to the public in order to make our workflows visible to every holder of a QuantumTECH project.

But what is Trello?

The Not Roadmap in Trello

Trello is a workflow management tool, it allows teams to, in an easy to use interface, manage an endless amount of tasks across an endless amount of categories. Making it incredibly simple for a team (or holders) to see precisely what is being worked on, what has been done, and what is coming down the line. These boards are able to be made public, meaning we can constantly update and change them, and have the ability for everyone to see and keep up with the changes to the board seamlessly. An additional perk to this platform is the ability to go into, and put additional details and hold conversations within individual cards. By clicking on cards you can see a deeper explanation of the card, and additionally see details such as comments left on the card and whatever attachments have been added to it as well.

What is in the Not Roadmap?

The Not Roadmap is a board which contains four sections, these sections are:

  1. Next Up!: This section contains cards with items that are not yet being actively worked on but are on the horizon. These are things we are on the verge of getting started, or are waiting for things in order to get started on production of that item. Giving you a view of the things which are coming around the corner and will be built in the coming sprints.
  2. In Progress: This section contains cards with items that we are currently working on. These are things which are in the development stage and we are spending time every day working on. This gives you an idea of what is being built on a given day, and what things are on their way to you next. If it is in this section we are actively developing it in our sprints and you can be confident we are talking about it constantly.
  3. Launched!: This section contains cards with items that we have completed! You can find a full back log of the things which we have come up with, built, and released. This will make for an ever growing list of achievements and pieces of technology developed by the team at QuantumTECH.
  4. Recurring Events: There are some things that are never truly “done” and for those things you will find them in this section. This will have all of the things such as our regularly occurring podcasts, events within the Rug.Hub like Fight Night and Movie Night, and any other things which happen regularly within the orbit of QuantumTECH.

Within these sections you’ll find a bunch of cards, these cards will describe each of the items and give you a breakdown of what it is within them by clicking on them. Each of these descriptions will provide you with a high level understanding of what is being worked on, and what things are in development at QuantumTECH.

Additionally each project that we manage is able to be filtered to in order to see exactly what type of items you want when looking for them. These can be found by going through the filter function on the page itself, or by using the redirect links we have through notroadmap.com:

Blazed Cats: blazedcats.notroadmap.com

DOJICREW: dojicrew.notroadmap.com

RUGWTF: rugwtf.notroadmap.com

Space Poggers: poggers.notroadmap.com

Throwaways: throwaways.notroadmap.com
